Black Tears is an elegy for cello and piano in sonata form lasting approx. five minutes. The language, the use of harmony is contemporary but the realist style is, by the author’s will, understandable to everyone. A piece of medium difficulty that can be inserted well into any concert or exam program, with which every cellist can highlight the beautiful sound and his own musical sensitivity.
