Description
in honor of the friendship between the bands “Società Filarmonica Sarteano” (IT), “Musikverein Gundelsheim” (GER) and “Harmonie des Enfants de l’Ozon” (FR)
by G. Roghi
Do It with Friends is a piece of music, composed and orchestrated by Maestro Giacomo Roghi, celebrating the friendship and solidarity between the bands “Società Filarmonica Sarteano” (Italy), “Musikverein Gundelsheim” (Germany), and “Harmonie des Enfants de l’Ozon” (France), uniting the sounds and traditions of diverse cultures across our continent in a single composition.
The piece was created with the intention of strengthening the bond that unites European nations, recognizing music as a powerful universal language capable of transcending linguistic, geographical, and cultural barriers.
Every note of this piece is intended to be a message of hope and unity, a hymn to diversity that becomes richness and strength.
The genesis of the work finds its references in Italian, German, and French classical music, creating a blend of styles that reflects the plurality and beauty of Europe. The engaging rhythms, delicate passages, and emotional outbursts are designed to evoke the shared journey toward peace, respect, and mutual understanding among peoples.
The composition is an invitation to look beyond differences and find ourselves, all together, in the harmony of a united, strong, peaceful, and supportive Europe.
