A double occasion (the 175th anniversary of the Arogno Philharmonic Society and the 80th anniversary of the Turin Conservatory) gave the author reason to write this fanfare in versions, respectively, for band and brass band. This is celebratory music, suitable for opening a concert. There are two distinct musical parts, the real fanfare and a sort of more melodic “trio”.
