Dance composed by Maestro Achille Longo (1832-1919), pianist, composer, and director of the Banda Calabrese, who settled in Amantea in 1860.
This piece dates back to the late 19th century; its score was recently recovered from the personal archive of a current member of the town band.
A composition with a ternary rhythm typical of the Mazurka, with a cheerful tempo and a hint of melancholy.
