Description
Ensemble for accessories
by Franco Cardaropoli
There’s a sound that doesn’t ask permission: it comes in through open windows, goes around your head, rests on your sleep. It is the summer song of the mosquito, thin as a thought. Another, older sound responds to this buzz: the whistle in the air of the whip, an extension of the human gesture. The piece tells of this tiny and eternal duel. First the flight. Then the hunt, finally the silence. Because even small wars have their music.
